both of these questions are err, questionable. im catholic (a christian basically) and i think both of these questions don't make any sense at all. you don't burn in hell if you don't believe in God or Christ but He weighs how you lived your life. christians can go to hell and atheists can go to heaven. in our belief system, God sacrificed his only Son to save us from sin so why would he not continue to show mercy?? except if you mock God. and secondly, what that guy said was wrong. they first don't believe in the earth just appear from nothing they believe in the Big Bang Theory or that other theory i forgot about a second universe. and no 6 billion people don't believe in nothing. everyone has different beliefs either it's God, Allah, or the big bang theory, as long as we respect each other then everything is fine. there is no definite answer that God exists but let me put you two questions out there i want you to keep thinking about. how were the energy particles that created the big bang form? and how did your religion's God become? i already know my own answer but i would like to ask you guys too.

Just want to mention a fun fact: some Christians believe fire and gnashing and teeth in Hell are metaphors for how you will be away from God. If you go on YT and search up “Biblically accurate Hell” or “Biblical Hell” it explains that it might not even be like that. There might be different sections of Hell like Sheol, Gehenna, etc. Maybe Jesus was only talking about the lake of fire.

Answers to both: 1. Majority of the world would go to heaven, but theres only like 2-3B Christians 2. If you look at science its possibible that earth formed from nothing. And 6 billion people around the world believe in nothing either way, due to 2.5B Christians.

You don’t get to argue that somehow because “a lot of people” believe it that it must be true because there have been hundreds of thousands of other religions over time and they can’t all be right ergo this premise that somehow lots of people believing falls flat on its face as that majority of these religions conflict with each others beliefs. Second saying someone rejecting your answer means they think everything came from nothing is not only fallacious its a hypocritical criticism when your answer literally just moves the goal post back saying a god made it but then that god came from nothing. Second the non believer doesn’t posit an answer and most that do will default to reality ie we don’t know yet. But when we didn’t know where thunder and lighting came from and someone said “an old guy on a hill is throwing it and he’s father to the gods” not believing that didn’t mean non believers believed it came from nothing. Same premise, EVERY single time mankind has been faced with something they were ignorant of and it was attributed to a god and we down the line got evidence for how it worked (lighting, the sun, what stars are etc) it never once turned out to be a god. Ergo your god is an ever shrinking gap of ignorance and nothing more.
